Engineered a web application utilizing MEAN stack capabilities, aimed at efficiently storing and presenting automation test execution outcomes. Within an expansive framework comprising approximately 9k to 10k test cases, maintaining test results posed significant challenges. To address this issue, I architected a solution involving the development of an application to aggregate execution data from diverse VMs and physical machines, centralizing it within a MongoDB database.
The subsequent phase involved building an application to retrieve data from this central repository and dynamically present it based on user-defined filters such as start date, end date, machine name, test types, and builds. Additionally, I incorporated various analytical features into the application, including graphical representations such as graphs, pie charts, and line charts.

We utilized UFT for UI testing, managing approximately 10,000 test cases, but encountered high maintenance and development costs. Seeking a cost-effective alternative, we explored RCAF, an internal Siemens tool for Teamcenter test case execution. After acquiring proficiency in RCAF, I spearheaded the creation of the initial 100 test cases within 3 months. Subsequently, I led a team of 4 to develop approximately 800 additional test cases. This transition to RCAF proved successful, as evidenced by the continued growth in test case count.

The Comos Web team faced challenges in handling over 100 simultaneous users, prompting the need for performance testing to establish benchmarks. To address this, I developed a framework using Locust and Python, providing a structured approach for performance testing. The framework empowers the team to conduct scenario-based performance testing of APIs and individual API performance tests. With a user-friendly template, the team can easily develop new test cases tailored to their requirements, ensuring comprehensive performance evaluation.
